A leader isn't someone who forces others to make him stronger; a leader is someone willing to give their strength to others that they may have the strength to stand on their own." Indeed! Sound leadership is much more than yielding power. Rather, it is about understanding the workforce and using one's soft skills to build an efficient and cohesive team. Various studies have supported this theory that more than technical skills or IQ, a leader's Emotional Intelligence matters. Women leaders often showcase a heightened understanding of emotional quotient such as self-awareness, empathy, social skills etc. these qualities make women leaders efficient and effective, at times more than their male-counterparts.
