I have consistently been academically oriented, excelling in my studies while actively participating in diverse extracurricular activities from school to college. My deep curiosity transforms education into a means of comprehending how things work. This innate curiosity propelled me to pursue a diverse academic profile, encompassing disciplines such as history, hotel management, child psychology, early childhood care, business management, and retail management from IIM Calcutta. Additionally, I earned a Masters in film and television studies. Significantly, my formative years cultivated a keen interest in observing human psychology. Professionally, I navigated artist management, corporate roles, and entrepreneurship.
Marriage ushered me into a culturally rich family, where I actively contributed to my husband's film production business. My emphasis on the significance of customer service, rooted in my background in hotel management, proved instrumental in augmenting our success.
Reflecting on my journey, each experience has shaped me into the entrepreneur I am today, emphasizing the value of understanding and serving customers, and the importance of grasping the market and providing apt solutions.
After a successful career in media, what prompted your move to real estate? Share insights into the decision-making process behind entering this new industry.
The family business in Mumbai, at the core of the Bollywood film industry, did not prove advantageous when I relocated to Dubai. Faced with limited opportunities for the film industry here, my background as a property investor from the age of 26 naturally steered me toward the realm of real estate. Enjoying the role of advising on property investments in Mumbai, my transition to Dubai seamlessly allowed me to continue pursuing this passion. Dubai's real estate, known as an investor haven, offered a promising opportunity.

Earning accolades while working with various real estate firms bolstered my confidence, leading to the establishment of my own firm. Fueled by the trust of investors, the transition was seamless. The market attracts a diverse range, from new homebuyers to global investors, thanks to Dubai's welcoming atmosphere and equal opportunities. A crucial lesson learned is the paramount importance of client servicing in any business. Satisfied clients ensure repeat business and become valuable referral sources. Unlike some real estate firms that solely focus on immediate sales, my approach prioritizes longterm relationships and customer satisfaction. In an industry often prioritizing quick deals, emphasizing customer service leads to loyal clients and sustained success. In the dynamic real estate sector, building trust is challenging due to the emergence and closure of numerous companies. Amid prevalent fraudulent activities, establishing trust is a daily challenge with clients and fellow agents. However, in Dubai's business landscape, trust remains vital for success, whether with clients or colleagues in the real estate industry.
