'Women-Owned Summer Passport' Program Launched by 12 Women-Owned Businesses

Southeast King County’s women-owned businesses are all set to participate in a passport program underscoring their businesses till the end of this summer. A total of 12 women-owned businesses from Maple Valley, Covington and Black Diamond have officially launched ‘Women-Owned Summer Passport program’.

In this program, a stamp of each business can be collected by shoppers and patrons while following each business on social media, specifically on Instagram. By doing this, they can be eligible for a weekly raffle prize.

The participations include Harts & Pearls, Our Hive Juicery, Palm & Pine Coffee Co. from Black Diamond; Barre3 Covington from Covington; Cultivate Hair Collective, Get Hot Yoga, Horse & Coal, House & Hazel, Lustre Infrared Sauna Studio, Maple Valley Acupuncture, Ristretto’s Coffee & Wine, The Buffalo Gym from Maple Valley.

Additionally, Lustre Infrared Sauna Studio Owner, Annie Bogart stated, “As a small business, initiatives like this are crucial for our growth. It’s about connection, serving the people who have interest in our unique offerings and building lasting relationships within the community.”

For all participating businesses, the passports are freely available on select Saturdays, from which some have brick-and-mortar locations while other are from Maple Valley Farmers Market. The program shall last till September 30, 2024.
