The programme taught 62 company owners how to increase their practical business launch skills, including how to get a licence, create curriculum, and create management plans. During the three-month programme, the participants presented their concepts to the assessment committee, which provided funding for the top 11 company plans.
"I had always desired to run a kindergarten but lacked the necessary knowledge. I have the chance to fulfil a dream because of my participation in this programme, says participant Ainura Savranbaeva from the Nookat area. After launching their kindergartens and education centres, programme graduates will still get assistance.
"Our plan integrates a number of crucial areas for raising the standard of living for Kyrgyz inhabitants. More kids will have access to schooling. For locals, there will be additional job options. Local firms and entrepreneurs will be equipped with the skills necessary to launch their own enterprises, according to Kaya Adams, the mission director for USAID in the Kyrgyz Republic.
