Vital Voices, in association with Bank of America, will host the 22nd Global Ambassadors Program (GAP) from November 6th to 10th in a pioneering collaboration. This distinguished week-long event will bring together a diverse group of 52 women social entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and NGO trailblazers from 29 countries.
The GAP 2023 edition is dedicated to assisting women working in the handcrafted and crafts industry, offering female leaders a unique opportunity to engage, develop worldwide networks, and enhance their expertise. 2023 will be even more noteworthy since it will be the first virtual gathering of the Global Ambassadors Program, with the largest cohort to date.
Throughout the week, participants will participate in intense strategic training sessions designed particularly to address the barriers to development and impact inside their businesses and organizations. The program's principal goal is to empower these female leaders to become important drivers of economic growth in their local communities. Furthermore, the program acts as a forum for seeking assistance with issues and requirements that people and their organizations may face.
"Investing in women leaders is needed now more than ever," said Zo Dean-Smith, Senior Vice President of Leadership and Social Impact at Vital Voices. "We know that when you invest in one woman, she pays it forward to her community." To confront the 21st century's mounting challenges, we need more women promoting daring ideas and empowering entire communities."
Since its inception in 2012, the Global Ambassadors Program has successfully run 21 programs throughout the world, influencing the lives of over 360 women from more than 85 nations. It is a tribute to the incredible work being done to assist and encourage female leaders on their path to making a lasting difference.
