According to AARP, many doctors and OB/GYNs are either not prepared to address the solutions or blame health challenges as a part of "growing older" with the start of hormonal changes brought on by perimenopause and menopause. Due to a lack of money and knowledge about the healthy aging of women, women over the age of 40 have very less healthcare alternatives open to them. Many females believe that their options for well-being are restricted. For this, the innovators are developing solutions.
The FemAging Project and Keiretsu Forum SoCal are organizing a virtual event called The FemAging Era Fast Pitch Competition to promote the investment and innovation of women's health technology for solutions which is specifically designed for women above the age of 40.
The finalists, Amira Health, Luna Nectar, MenoWell, Moremme, OCON Therapeutics, and Virgo Orthopaedics will be present on May 24, 2023, to present their pitches.
The event will highlight the following;
The people who are significantly concerned about their capacity to be independent and healthy are 58 percent.
Women aged between 40-65 have unique healthcare needs and react differently to menopause.
Women aged between 40-65 use voice-enabled products such as smart homes, digital crypto currencies, and thermostats and appliances.
The innovators showcase their health and wellness solutions for women who are above 40 age group at the FemAging Pitch Competition. A virtual one-on-one meeting with a potential investor, a year of free membership at Keiretsu Forum SoCal, and other professional services are among the additional prizes that will be provided to the participants, they may also win an amount of $10,000 in cash.
