More than 50 female participants of SheRebuilds the World Female Entrepreneurship Project’s second cohort have graduated and celebrated the ceremony with joy on May 13, 2024. All the participants were in between the age of 18 to 65.

The program has provided the tools and guidance to the participants in order to refine their business concepts into viable enterprises. In addition, The SheRebuilds the World project is a collaborative effort that has been put by Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), Business Financial Solutions (BFS) along with Economic Cooperation and Investments for Latvia (ESI-LV).

The program’s primary aim was to empower young and aspiring women entrepreneurs. It included a set of interventions counting on intensive three-day boot camp and a complimentary three-month online entrepreneurship course from Riga Business School. This ensured that the participants were equipped with essential skills and knowledge.

With a highlighted statement, NIPDB announced the theme of the project entitled ‘Female Empowerment through Entrepreneurship in Africa’ that served as a platform to promote Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) services’ entrepreneurship development and increase awareness in Namibia. The graduated females shall get to use these skills later on, in their lives for the upliftment of careers and businesses.
