Entrepreneurial Business Builder (EBB) programme’s second cohort came to a conclusion with 58 women graduating in a virtual ceremony which was hosted by Republic Bank in collaboration with EBB partner BDP Associates.
The event’s theme was “Championing HER Success" under which graduating women entrepreneurs will be moving to achieve greater success in business.
Launched last year on International Women’s Day, EBB programme saw participation from 500 women entrepreneurs. Out of these applications, 80 were chosen to participate, with 58 successfully graduating from the program.
In 2023, the EBB programme took a systematic approach to improve learning, strategies and tactics. The newly implemented approach will create long- running personal and business outcomes or all women entrepreneurs. The programme aimed that by its close all participants would gain additional confident and create tech-enabled and robust businesses that will demonstrate speedy growth.
Each of the 58 women entrepreneurs who graduated is now eligible to receive a pre-approved financing business package. They can receive business credit card and/or overdraft facility, valued from US$2,000 to US$5,000.
In a statement the Republic Bank said that it is proud to push such initiatives help in empowering women entrepreneurs.
