An innovative boot camp programme has been launched by the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), a well-known division of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, in collaboration with Flat6Labs, a top startup accelerator, to improve the abilities and entrepreneurial aptitude of council members.
The workshop, which spanned three noteworthy days, offered assistance to 20 firms run by bold female entrepreneurs. In-depth training sessions and coaching workshops led by renowned industry experts were among the many priceless services and incentives offered by the programme. Each business was matched with a qualified mentor, guaranteeing individualised support along the way. The extensive curriculum included a variety of classes, workshops, and guest speaker appearances that all worked together to promote ongoing learning and skill development.
During the programme, important subjects that are essential for corporate growth and acceleration were in the spotlight. These included Design Thinking, Marketing Strategy & Branding, Financial Modelling & Fundamentals, Pitch Deck Development, Pitch Deck Refinement, and concluded in a crucial Startup Pitch with an astute Selection Committee.
The head of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, Asma Al Fahim, pledged to help female businesses succeed in the marketplace. "At the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, we are committed to launching and participating in initiatives aimed at upskilling female entrepreneurs and raising their competitiveness in the market," the speaker said. The Emirate of Abu Dhabi's economic growth is significantly influenced by businesswomen. We'll keep empowering them by creating a climate that encourages entrepreneurship, giving them access to tools and networks, and providing specialised support services.
The general manager of Flat6Labs UAE, Ryaan Sharif, praised the potential effects of the collaboration: "We are thrilled to be collaborating with the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council to equip aspiring female entrepreneurs with the necessary support and mentoring to attain their fullest potential. We look forward to developing more programmes that help and empower women as they rise to new heights.
The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and Flat6Labs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) earlier this year, which led to the creation of this boot camp curriculum. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) expresses a shared commitment to fostering collaboration, empowering female entrepreneurs to advance their ventures, realise their goals, and significantly contribute to Abu Dhabi's economic growth.
The cooperation represents a consistent commitment to provide women with the skills, information, and assets necessary to succeed in the cutthroat business environment. It also highlights the UAE's ongoing initiatives to promote a culture that values diversity, innovation, and long-term economic prosperity.
