The first edition of the UAE Inter-Businesswomen Councils Forum was a success for the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI). The event, hosted at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was a resounding success in terms of attendance, accomplishments, and influence on the UAE businesswomen community.
The Forum, which was co-organized by the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC), Sharjah Business Women Council (SBWC), CCI France UAE, and Emirates Development Bank (EDB) and featured the theme "How to Thrive in a Sustainable Economy," drew influential figures and businesswomen from across the country.
Her Highness The ADBWC's Chairwoman, Asma Al Fahim, underscored the UAE's acknowledgment of women's positive contributions, highlighting government measures to encourage women in business. She emphasized the expansion of business incubators and women's councils, which are establishing a welcoming atmosphere for women in the UAE business community.
Sheikha Hind bint Majid Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of SBWC, stated that the Forum raises organizational standards and offers strong support for women in business. Honorary President of the CCI France UAE Women Empowerment Committee, Françoise Niemtchinow, stressed the Forum's significance in developing French-Emirati economic cooperation.
The Forum offered informative sessions on financial literacy, technology and artificial intelligence applications, and new business trends. Notable attendees included Nadine Halabi, Director of Business Development at DBWC, and Ahmed Al Naqbi, CEO of EDB.
The UAE Inter-Businesswomen Councils Forum, an annual event, seeks to create collaboration, exchange expertise, and empower women entrepreneurs, therefore contributing to the growth of enterprises and initiatives in the UAE.
