ADCB's Launches Initiative 'Tamooha' to Provide Emirati Women Job Opportunities

ADCB launches ‘Tamooha’ that translates to Ambitious in Arabic shall offer job opportunities that has been created with an intent to adapt to social and family responsibilities of women. It is giving them a choice to either o work from home and that to in a bank branch nearby or work in dedicated women-only operations centre of ADCB in Al Ain.

Founded in 1985, ADCB is headquartered in Abu Dhabi with specialities in Banking, Islamic Banking, and Financial Services. The bank put its focus on UAE, providing great opportunities.

This particular initiative has been made as a part of the commitment of the bank, intending to serve the local community, adding on to the eagerness to bolster employment in Emirati women, specifically in the banking sector.

ADCB CEO and Board Member Ala’a Eraiqat stated that all the female employees get the chance to select to work from home or in the centre in Al Ain. In addition, he said that the centre is not in the branch of the bank, rather its separated from it and is entirely staffed and managed by women. This makes the place completely ideal for Emirati women since there is no requirement of customer interaction.
