The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) will organize the first coding camp in Zanzibar from February 27 to March 10, 2023, and UN Women Tanzania is putting out a call for applications for suitable girls to attend.
To put at least 2,000 African women on the path to pursuing education and careers in the data, technology, and technology (ICT) fields, the project will train and authorize them towards becoming computer programmers, developers, and designers.
Coding camps as well as the inclusion of ICT, programming, and sexism into national curricula are the two key initiatives that are the focus of the project.
