Ahmadu Fintiri Empowers 65,000 Women & Youths with Business Venture Grants

Ahmadu Fintiri, the Adamawa State Governor has recently empowered a total of 65,000 females as well as youth within the state, providing each with 50,000 Naira. These funds have been given to either begin a small business or scale an existing business towards bigger market.

Additionally, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is the currently serving governor of Adamawa State and has been serving since 2019. He was also an Adamawa State House of Assembly member, serving as the Speaker of the Assembly.

This financing concept has been termed as ‘Fintiri Business Wallet’ that describes as a deliberate effort by the state government with an intent towards reducing poverty, pushing it to the barest minimum among the people in the state. The beneficiaries of the scheme were selected from 21 local government areas all across the state.

During the presentation ceremony, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri states that masses’ economic empowerment is a part of his 8-point agenda and also said that it is a promise fulfilled. In addition, Dr. Michael Zira, the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation (PAWECA) Director General stated that the beneficiaries have been selected carefully to allow for fund’s transparent disbursement. These funds have helped women to grow in the realm of business.
