Ajman Businesswomen Councils delegation attends Fifth Gulf Business Women Forum in Saudi Arabia

The fifth Gulf Business Women Forum, which was held alongside an exhibition with the theme "Gulf Women: Between Empowerment and Leadership," and which was sponsored by the Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC) and hosted by the Federation of GCC Chambers, Council of Saudi Chambers, and Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, featured a delegation from the Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC).

Dr. Amna Khalifa, the AJBWC's chairwoman and a board member of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, served as the delegation's leader (ACCI). The AJBWC Board Members Mona Saqr Al Matrooshi, Wafa Hassan Al Shamsi, Dr. Nora Al Marzooqi, and Abeer Eid Al Faraj, Director of the AJBWC's Office, were all part of the delegation.

Dr. Amna Khalifa focused on the significance of the Discussion facilitated by the Jeddah Chamber, and its part in upgrading the commitment of financial specialists to the offices of trade and industry, and featured the accomplishments of female entrepreneurs and the degree of their commitment to expanding the Gross domestic product of the GCC nations. The Discussion is likewise a fundamental stage for trading thoughts and propositions on the side of expanding the capacities that help Bay financial specialists, as well as connecting development with ventures of money managers and advancing business.

Dr. Amna Khalifa's working paper, "Women Personalities in the World of Business and Finance," was presented by AJBWC. The working paper covered several insightful and noteworthy experiences of female entrepreneurs, the significance of inspiring and motivating newcomers and those wishing to enter the field of private projects, as well as the role and diversity of innovative initiatives in growing the projects of female entrepreneurs and transforming their ideas into successful projects.

The Forum came to a close with several recommendations, including "the importance of launching specific initiatives aimed at strengthening the role and status of Gulf business women, calling on the Federation of GCC Chambers to establish a permanent committee for Gulf business women's forums, and promoting the establishment of specialized centers to integrate digital and modern technologies in the work of business women and introduce such service as part of their package of services."

H.E. Nasser Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Consul General of UAE in Jeddah, met with AJBWC's delegation, to discuss with Amani Bukhamseen, Secretary-General in charge of the Federation of Gulf Chambers, ways of cooperation.

AJBWC's delegation discussed with H.E. Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Chairman of the Board of Directors of the JCCI ways to augment collaboration, chances for swapping appointments to profit from creativities and services in the arena of entrepreneurship, expressly for women entrepreneurs, and openings to participate in events and showings organized by both parties.
