Alexandria's 'Startups of Alex' Empowers Women Entrepreneurs

"Startups of Alex," a new company incubator in Alexandria, is about to open. It is run by ICE Alex. The initiative will offer vital advice and advising to support startups beginning on October 12, 2023.

At the launch, which will honour the graduation of 37 startup firms, entrepreneurs and investors will be present. "Startups of Alex" intends to link emerging businesses in the area with collaborators, mentors, investors, co-working spaces, and innovation hubs.

CEO Ahmed Bastawi expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, which has drawn many businesspeople and creatives. It focuses on empowering business owners and creating an environment that is favorable for converting creative ideas into actual projects.

Over 10,000 entrepreneurs have already received support through ICE Alex, which operates in more than 20 countries. Of these, 54% are women. The "Startups of Alex" program had a 35% rise in income, added 4,200 employment, and drew investments totaling more than EGP 10 million.

Insucare, GGEG Company, and Techy School are notable success stories that highlight the effect of this strategy on promoting entrepreneurship. The company works with well-known international organizations, demonstrating its dedication to entrepreneurship and innovation.
