AllBright establishes The AllBright Alliance to Support Women in the Workplace

Eldridge, Chelsea FC, BNY Mellon Investment Management, HSBC, Simba Sleep, Northern Bloc, and Visionable Healthcare are among Collective's seven original corporate partners.

According to a recent study by AllBright, just one in ten women feel "very optimistic" about their present rate of job advancement, and fifty percent of women feel underappreciated at work.

The networking organization AllBright, which is devoted to improving the working conditions for women, has established the AllBright Alliance, a global alliance of companies. Eldridge, BNY Mellon Investment Management, HSBC, Simba Sleep, Northern Bloc, Visionable Healthcare, and Chelsea FC are the AllBright Alliance's first seven corporate partners.

Viviane Paxinos, CEO of AllBright, says: "We are delighted to formally launch the AllBright Alliance and welcome our founding partners. They are joining a movement with a mission to find solutions to the challenges faced by women in the workplace. Over time, we look forward to welcoming more corporate employers to this collective and encourage interested organizations to contact AllBright."

The AllBright Alliance offers business members frameworks, such as unique mentorship opportunities, leadership training through the AllBright Elevator program, and special seminars and events, to assist, upskill, and promote women in their workforce. Together with elite athletes and senior executives from FTSE 100 companies, these companies will participate in AllBright's worldwide Mentor Matching program both as mentors and mentees. The AllBright Alliance's founding partners have agreed to get together once a year to discuss best practices and lessons learned from the initiative.

According to a recent Future of Work poll by AllBright, 38% of women believe coaching and mentoring would help them advance their careers, and 57% desire to expand their external networks in the next six months. Businesses must address the demand for connection and networking to narrow the gender gap in the new hybrid work environment or possibly lose their most precious resource.

"There's a clear and urgent need for change and a huge opportunity for organizations to step up and transform their businesses to drive progress towards equity faster. Now is the time to act to make work, work for all women, regardless of age, stage, race, or profession. This is not just good for all women, it's good for business. In 2021, 73% of businesses with gender equality practices increased their productivity and profitability (Entrepreneur). That's why AllBright has created the Alliance to support better recruitment, retention, and progression and ultimately drive business success.” Paxinos continued.

"We are aware that one in three women have thought of leaving their current position or downsizing due to fatigue (McKinsey). The most current Sex and Power Index from the Fawcett Society shows that just 8% of FTSE100 CEOs are female. To provide the resources and networks required to develop the next generation of female leaders, we are eager to collaborate with our business partners."

Todd Boehly, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Eldridge, says: "For women who want to progress their careers and fuel business success, AllBright provides a full range of innovative events, resources, and networking opportunities. As a result, Eldridge is pleased to have joined the AllBright Alliance as a founding member, and we are dedicated to helping them develop as they continue to promote women."

Northern Bloc, Visionable Healthcare Chair, Simba Sleep, Allan Leighton says "Even though gender equality has made considerable progress, we firmly feel that by joining the AllBright Alliance, we can advance it more quickly as a group. We want to strongly convey to our female coworkers that we care about them and that we want to see them succeed."
