Ambassador Tremont congratulated the participants who secured their place for the session stating, “I am thrilled to see so many courageous and inspiring women from across the country…. I say you are courageous because starting a business is scary and full of uncertainty and challenges. You are also inspiring because you looked around and wanted to make a better life for yourself, your family, and your community with your talents and ideas.”

AWE will be using DreamBuilder, the online program which was developed by Thunderbird School of Global Management of Arizona State University in an alliance with local expertise. In 2024, AWE will include a total of 100 women coming from Zimbabwe, having group meetings Harare, Mutare, and Bulawayo. It also involves in-person sessions as well as online, site visits, mentorship in addition to engagement with AWE alumnae. This particular program will help businesswomen to grow and understand what business is and how to scale it to a bigger market.
