Arista Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, has announced the hiring of Sharon Timure as Head of Marketing and Kelsey Hession as Publicity Lead in a deliberate drive to strengthen its leadership team. Both executives will be stationed in New York and will report to President and CEO David Massey and General Manager Veronica Sanjines directly.

Sharon Timure, who spent nearly two decades at Island Records, will oversee all marketing operations for Arista. Her strong resume includes work with established musicians such as Shawn Mendes, The Killers, Bon Jovi, Fall Out Boy, Demi Lovato, and upcoming talent such as Lauren Spencer Smith. Sharon’s industry expertise was acknowledged when she was named to Billboard's '40 Under 40 Power Players' list in 2016 and the annual 'Women In Music' power list the following year.

Kelsey Hession, formerly of Glassnote Records, will use her media experience to boost Arista's entire media presence, which will include both artist and corporate label awareness. Hession, who led the PR department at Glassnote Records for four years, was instrumental in the success of artists such as Phoenix, CHVRCHES, Jade Bird, and Silvana Estrada's Grammy-winning first album campaign.

Sharon and Hession will work throughout Arista's wide roster, which includes multi-platinum performers like Mneskin and JP Saxe, as well as developing musicians like Lola Brooke and Paul Russell. "Sharon brings an incredible prowess to developing artists with a progressive marketing strategy," said David Massey, "and Kelsey's forward-thinking approach to media will be a driving force to build buzz around our roster."

Arista Records, founded by Clive Davis in 1974 and relaunched in 2018, has a long history of renowned artists ranging from Whitney Houston to Patti Smith. Today, the label thrives with a new generation of musicians on its roster, including Tai Verdes, Lola Brooke, Beach Weather, Paul Russell, carolesdaughter, Audrey Nuna, and Mike Posner.
