Recently in the month of November, ASPI DC alongside Australian Women in DC (AWDC) hosted a lively event, focused on US and Australian Women and Space: New Frontiers for Business and Government.

In addition, Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) was founded in the year 2001 and caters in the Think Tanks industry. It is headquartered in Barton, Australian Capital Territory, specialising in Defence Budget and Management, Operation and Capability, Strategy and International, National Security, Defence economics, amongst other.

Amidst the chaos od elections and politics in DC and beyond, the event was organised with an intent to bring the focus on the importance of space being a domain for innovation and development, specifically in defense, science, and communications.

The event witnessed insights from US Space Force Space Development Agency Paula Trimble; Space Industry Association of Australia Jeremy Hallett; BAE Systems, Inc. Lisa Wood. They shared their time and expertise, advising the attendees on what makes a great mentor and exciting career. The event moderated by ASPI DC and AWDC’s Nerida King. He brought these leaders together in order to create a space where these insights can be discussed. All the insights from the keynote people enlightened the attendees with knowledge and understanding.
