A new Women’s Business Center is all set to get established by Better Business Bureau of Austin after the announcement of a federal grant as part of nationwide investment of $26.25 million by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Furthermore, this new center has been established in order to provide women with one-on-one counseling, training, networking opportunities, workshops, and technical assistance. These women must be wanting to start or scale their businesses.
Founded in 1912, Better Business Bureau caters in the Consumer Services industry with headquarters in Texas, having specialities in Consumer Education, Business Resources, Dispute Resolution, Customer Reviews, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Business Education, Ethics, and Business Profile. Besides, US SBA work with an aim towards helping small business owners and entrepreneurs with headquarters in Washington, DC.
In addition, the Austin center is one amongst the 13 new locations that has been established all across the country for assisting female entrepreneurs. This center shall offer core business development services specifically for businesses that are owned by women in the greater Austin area. It will add to the growing resources of the city for women entrepreneurs.
Isabel Casillas Guzman, the SBA Administrator stated, “When we invest in women, our economy wins.”
