The famous worldwide management consultant Bain & Company is poised to conduct the second edition of its Middle East Women Leadership Forum (WLF) in Dubai on November 15th and 16th, marking the first appearance of this unique event in the UAE.
Following the success of last year's first event in Saudi Arabia, where great female leaders gathered to meet and exchange experiences, this year's forum begins on November 15th with an exclusive welcome supper. On November 16th, three seminars will be held: "Finding Your Purpose," "Living Your Purpose," and "Communication: How to Have Difficult Conversations."
The seminars, which are designed to coincide with personal and professional leadership and goal-setting, seek to motivate participants to inject meaning into their work and career decisions. The day will culminate with a "Connecting in Vulnerability" session, which will provide a supportive environment for women to form deeper relationships.
Anne-Laure Malauzat, Partner and Regional Chief Diversity Officer at Bain & Company Middle East, emphasized the importance of workplace diversity and inclusion, stating that organizations reach a tipping point toward gender equity success when women account for at least 30% of the total workforce. Women now occupy just approximately 7% of board seats in the area, compared to the global average of 20%.
WLF Senior Manager and Lead Lise Abi Jaoude expressed delight about bringing WLF to the UAE, underlining the organization's commitment to creating a forum for knowledge-sharing and experience among female leaders across the GCC.
The event is expected to act as a hub for encouraging open discourse about navigating the workplace confidently and effectively, with the goal of changing the region's present gender equity statistics.
