Bank Asia PLC organised Entrepreneurship Workshop for 53 Female Entrepreneurs

Recently in an alliance with BIC, Uttoron, Bank Asia PLC has organised a workshop for a total of 53 women entrepreneurs. The workshop entitled as ‘Women Entrepreneurship Development & Access to Banking Finance’ took place at the Bank Asia Institute for Training & Development.

In addition, the bank has been founded by a group of successful entrepreneurs specialising in Corporate Banking, Salamah - Islamic Banking, SME Finance, Credit Cards, Consumer Finance, Foreign Remittence, Mobile Banking, Corporate Liability, Retail Deposit, Treasury Service amongst other.

The session was inaugurated by Bank Asia MSME Division’s SEVP & Head Md. Shaminoor Rahman. Besides, the workshop was witnessed a number of notable attendees that includes BIC Uttoron Team Leader Md. Quamruzzaman and BIBM Associate Professor Dr. Mosharraf Hossain alongside Bank Asia PLC’s senior officials. With the organising of this event, the commitment of Bank Asia aligns with the workshop i.e., fostering women entrepreneurs’ growth and empowerment by enhancing their financial services access.

The workshop gave women entrepreneurs an outlook towards entrepreneurship and how the industry works in the first place. Entrepreneurship and banking was the most prioritised topics of the workshop that led the female entrepreneurs towards a better understanding of the business world.
