Beam in Business buys Women-Centric Job Platform Freelancing Gems

Freelancing Gems, a women-centric job site has been sold to Beam in Business by Fleur Madden, the CEO and co-founder and Kirsty Jackson, the marketing and product director of the firm. Besides, Beam in Business is also a female-led and -owned women’s business community.

Founded in 2020, Freelancing Gems caters in the Business Consulting and Services industry where employers can connect with those women who are looking to get a job, including freelancers, the consultants, contractors and side-hustlers. Since the establishment of the firm, it has assisted over a thousand women to get work and according to Fleur, 65 percent of women are earning more than they did before joining.

She stated, “We are very proud of the impact our business has had in supporting women to find work across Australia, and close the gender pay gap in this space.”

In addition, Kirsty added, “We have always believed that we are stronger together in the women’s community space, and Beam was one of the companies we have had a long relationship with. We admire the work they have been doing to shine a spotlight on women’s business achievements, particularly in the regional space.” They also revealed that jointly both of them have run a successful refugee program that supported women to begun earning as they make a new start in Australia.
