Beautyworld Middle East 2024 successfully ended unprecedentedly by attracting a whopping number of 71,439 people around the globe at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 28 to 30. This 28th edition has been marked as one of the most significant international trade fairs in the sector for beauty and wellness. The exposition improved names by interaction by such features as Fragrance, Cosmetics and Skincare of innovative offerings, Beauty Tech, and Personal Care.
The Messe Frankfurt Middle East hosted the event, which lasted three days, and was held in 17 spacious halls, where 2,000 exhibitors from around the world and region displayed their wares-a 10% increase in visitor numbers from last year. The event is thus the key platform for the beauty sector in the MENA region, where the beauty and personal care market is expected to grow to $60 billion by 2025, according to the BeautyMatter Middle East Market Report 2024.
International participation reached a record 164 countries, eight percent more than last year, underlining the event's interest around the globe. The largest exhibitor growth was for China at 79% followed by the U.S. and U.K. at 65% and 62%, respectively. Europe also showed a significant representation of its own, indicating global interest in the beauty market in the region.

The event provided many highlights, including the much-anticipated Next in Beauty Conference, the launch of Beauty Beginnings in collaboration with the International Luxury Brand Consultancy, live demonstrations at the beautyLIVE stage, crowned by the Goldwell Arabian Color Fiesta, and the coveted awards of the Beautyworld Middle East Awards, where Lifetime Achievement Award was bestowed on industry leader Maria Dowling.
Exhibitors praised the strategic value of the event. Mohammed Majrashi of Saudi Arabia's Laverne Perfume, a first-time participant and award winner, pointed to the possibility of connecting with new distributors and customers. Oh Young-Woo, CEO of South Korea's Face Factory, said that it is important to present Asian beauty innovations to Middle Eastern audiences.
Launched under the patronage of Her Excellency Hessa bu Humaid, the exhibition further consolidated itself as a powerhouse for innovation and collaboration in the beauty sector. The next edition is already scheduled for 27-29 October, 2025; Beautyworld Middle East is positioned to further steer the face of global beauty.
