Danielle Jones-Hunte, former Miss Trinidad and Tobago, has been appointed Vice President of Communications and External Affairs (C&EA) for BP’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) operations, effective March 1. In her new role, she will oversee BP’s regional C&EA strategy, reporting directly to Nader Zaki, SVP/CEO of BP’s MENA business.
The release stated that "Danielle brings over 15 years of experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and corporate negotiations. Her distinguished career spans the energy, finance, and public relations sectors, with leadership roles in multibillion dollar mergers, crisis communications, and corporate transformation. She has worked across global markets, including London, Mumbai, and Washington, DC"

The release highlights that Daniele’s success has been built on her ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and foster cross sector partnerships. She attributed her early career at the T&T Unit Trust Corporation with teaching her the value of strategic networking and stakeholder engagement, essential skills that have propelled her success in global business leadership.
Daniele, a strong proponent of leadership development, is a certified executive coach with a leadership certificate from Stanford University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management from Florida International University and a Master's degree in Communication and Culture from Howard University. "As she embarks on this new chapter in Oman, she remains dedicated to utilizing her expertise to advance BP’s strategic goals in the MENA region," the release added.
