The integration of newcomers into the BRICS strategic partnership was the focus of a significant gathering attended by esteemed dignitaries such as Sergey Ryabkov, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister and BRICS Sherpa, and Sergey Katyrin, President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Ryabkov listed Egypt, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia as key emphasis areas for the year. He emphasized the importance of corporate contact within BRICS, highlighting the impact of initiatives like as the BRICS Women's corporate Alliance and the BRICS Business Council, which have received steadfast support from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The Unified Digital Platform, a flagship initiative, is set to launch under Russia's BRICS Chairmanship. This website intends to link female entrepreneurs from BRICS countries, providing them with resources to communicate with possible partners and investors.
Twenty events are slated for 2024, including the BRICS Women's Entrepreneurship Forum and the Best Women's Startups Competition. The meeting, held in Moscow from June 2 to 4, 2024, will address important economic concerns and prospects among the BRICS countries.
In addition, plans include a business trip to Brazil and participation in the Women's Leadership Forum in China. The busy year will conclude with working group meetings and the alliance's annual closed conference in Moscow in October.
