An open call for interest from organisations has been announced by British High Commission in Cameroon in order to implement empowering women entrepreneurs in 2024 in the cameroon programme.
Proposals is getting invited by the commission for designing and implementing innovative training program intending to women entrepreneurs’ capacity building within Cameroon. Tailored to assist economic potential of women in business leadership, the initiative aims at promoting economic opportunities of women, giving access to knowledge for enterprising women as well as networks and platform which they require to start and scale businesses successfully.
Some of the objectives of the programme involves upskilling and transferring of knowledge, business networking expansion, networking and platforms to get opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
With a project budget of maximum of £25,000, the programme has a performance period length till March 31, 2025. The programme has three phases that involves Develop and recruit beneficiaries (Phase 10), Upskilling and capability building (Phase 2), and Monitoring and evaluation (Phase 3).
The project aims for the outcomes like upskilling women and enhance their capacity, so then that deliver their economic potential. It shall also enable these female entrepreneurs to access for finance while focusing on providing access for vital resources to women entrepreneurs.
