Brumbies Announce Luncheon to Support Women in Rugby

The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies are pleased to release details of their annual Women in Business, Leadership & Sport Luncheon, sponsored by Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers, to be held on Friday, September 6, from 12. 30pm to 2. 30pm at Hotel Realm, Barton. This premier event also stands as a vibrant one for business networking primarily targeting the achievement of women’s goals in rugby. Participants will also receive the chance to be involved with the development of female rugby players beyond merely being served exquisite food. It is a fundraising luncheon to ensure the necessary finances for female rugby programs, as the funds raised will be used for the Brumbies Academy and other women’s rugby projects and developments.

The event has something in store for everyone as the audience can expect to learn from distinguished guest speakers such as Olympic Cyclist Chloe Hosking, former Wallaroo and Rugby Australia Co-President Kristy Giteau, and Rowing Australia Chief Executive, Sarah Cook.
