Canon concludes "Women Who Empower" Initiative

"Women Who Empower" initiative by Canon has been concluded successfully, having a memorable media event that took place at the Radisson Blu Ikeja, Lagos. The programme was initiated in a partnership with Women in Successful Careers (WISCAR).

Intending to empower women in the print and imaging sectors, the programme has arranged a training session that ran for a month while culminating in an exhibition that was showcasing the creativity of the participants. With a dynamic portfolio exhibition, the event has been wrapped up. Participants showcased their work, skills and creative talent during the exhibition.

While praising the collaboration with Canon, WISCAR Founder and Chairperson Mrs. Amina Oyagbola said, “This collaboration serves as a powerful blueprint for partnerships that break down barriers, drive meaningful change, and pave the way for a more inclusive future in the print and imaging industries.
