Carhartt appoints Norma Delaney as New VP of Brand Marketing & Creative

Recently, Dearborn-based Carhartt has announced the appointment of Norma Delaney as the new vice president of brand marketing and creative. She will be spearheading the workwear efforts of the brand for the expansion of its consumer base after the firm’s very recent push towards women’s apparel market.

Founded in 1889, Carhartt caters in the Retail Apparel and Fashion industry with specialities in Rainwear, Workwear, Twill, Quick Duck, Rugged, High-Visibility amongst others.

Prior to this firm, Norma was working with johnnie-O as the Chief Marketing Officer for over a year. She has also worked with HOKA ONE ONE for 4 years as Global Vice President, Brand Marketing and at Delaney Brand Consulting, LLC as President & CMO. In addition, Norma will be reporting to the chief brand officer of Carhartt, Susan Hennike.

Susan said, “Norma has extensive leadership experience and a proven ability to elevate global brands through creative storytelling and strategic amplification.”

Norma will take the responsibility of shaping the image of the organisation while keeping her focus on the expansion of customer base. One release regarding her appointment said, “she will develop executive marketing and creative strategies, overseeing media planning, brand management, internal and external public relations, digital marketing and marketing analysis."
