Julie Sinnamon, the former CEO of Enterprise Ireland, has been replaced as Co-Chair of the Balance for Better Business Group by Carol Andrews, Managing Director of BNY Mellon.

Balance for Better Business is an independent review committee that is established by the government and aims to increase the representation of women in senior business leadership in Ireland.

Aongus Hegarty, a senior executive at Dell, will be collaborating with Ms. Carol and continue to serve as Co-Chair. Since 2021, this effort has been co-led by Mr Hegarty and Ms Sinnamon.

Ms, Carol, who is a former participant in the Women's Leadership Forum, is presently a member of the steering group for the 30 per cent Club Ireland. The committee Balance for Better Business was established in 2018 and since then Ms Carol has been a part of it.

She feels grateful to accept the position as this committee has been continuously helping to put gender balance at the forefront of Irish enterprises. She even stated that she is looking forward to leading this progress as they bring other firms on a journey of change and make sure that they derive the real benefits of gender-balanced leadership.
