Carolyn Wheeler appointed as CEO of Vella Bioscience

Carolyn Wheeler has been appointed as the new CEO of Vella Bioscience which is a company that makes products for women's sexual wellness. Former CEO, Nial DeMena has been promoted to hold the role of Executive Chairman.

In order to prioritize knowledge and education about the female sexual response cycle, this decision has been made by the board of Vella Bioscience. It specifies female sexual arousal, a physical function that is frequently misunderstood as libido or desire, a psychological function.

The decision is to implement at the same time that Otrera Medical, Inc., a brand new pharmaceutical organization that will create FDA-approved treatments for unmet female sexual health needs, is established by Vella Bioscience.

According to the former CEO, Carolyn has fruitfully established herself as a multitalented and excellent leader and she will completely support her through her new journey as the CEO. She added that, at Vella, a capable female leader needs to take the helm away and Carolyn can do it effectively.
