Cherie Blair Foundation for Women appoints Flow Communications

In order to promote theHerVenture mobile application in South Africa as well as Nigeria, Cherie Blair Foundation for Women has appointed Flow Communications. Founded in 2008, the foundation caters in the International Trade and Development industry with specialities in Gender equality, Women's economic empowerment, Mentoring, ICT4D, Mobile technology, Women's entrepreneurship etc.

It is committed to eliminate global gender gap in entrepreneurship while keeping an eye for the women entrepreneurs’ future. Till date, the foundation has assisted over 175,000 women to start micro, small and medium-sized businesses and grow it successfully in over 100 countries.

Moreover, the application has been developed by the foundation as a zero-rated (the app can operate offline once downloaded) solution. This serves as a response to the mobile usage habits of African market as well as the high data cost challenges. This app will make sure of seamless functionality even without internet connection.
