Collette celebrates Women’s History Month by showcasing exceptional women-owned and managed businesses across its global tours, fostering both economic empowerment and cultural appreciation for travellers. Under the leadership of its first female CEO, Jaclyn Leibl Cote, Collette emphasizes the critical impact of women-led enterprises, entrepreneurs, and artisan in communities worldwide.
As Collette embarks on its 107th travel season in 2025-2026, the company introduces over 170 thoughtfully designed tours spanning six continents, Including Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, North America, and South America. Prioritizing travel during low-season months, Collette fosters economic stability in tourism-dependent regions while providing travellers with more immersive, crowd-free experiences.
To address over-tourism and strengthen regional economies, Collette integrates secondary city destinations such as Ise Shima, Japan; Cornwall, England; Sarajevo, Bosnia; and Pienza, Italy. In addition to supporting female-led businesses on its tours, Collette continues to lead the industry with internal and local initiatives that empower women and families.

Kazuri Beads Factory (Nairobi) offers fair-wage employment to disadvantaged women and Hood River Lavender Farms (Oregon) celebrates sustainable agriculture and local craftsmanship. Ama Hut Satoumain (Japan) where female free divers, frill local seafood while sharing their insights into their essential role in Japan’s pearl and seafood industry and Sheroe’s Hangout (India), is a ground-breaking café that employs acid attack survivors.
Frantoio Doglia in Tuscany( Italy), produces high-quality extra virgin oil using traditional methods for sustainable farming, whereas, Heritage Tours (Memphis), showcases African American history’s key civil rights landmarks and contributions. Penduka Village, a women-run social enterprise near Goreangab Dam, provides guided tours for its manufacturing and hospitality facilities, and Amal Women’s Training Center in Morocco, equips women with skills and resources to achieve financial self-sufficiency.
