Colorado-Based AngloGold Ashanti appoints Hoda Mansour to Lead Sukari Gold Mines

• AngloGold Ashanti plc announces the appointment of Eng. Hoda Mansour as Managing Director and Vice Chair of Sukari Gold Mines
• She brings 25 years of experience in executive roles, working in Asia Pacific, Japan, Middle East and Africa

AngloGold Ashanti plc, a global gold mining company has made an announcement regarding the appointment of Eng. Hoda Mansour to the position of Managing Director and Vice Chair of the largest gold mine Sukari Gold Mines in Egypt.

In addition, Sukari mine is operated by AngloGold Ashanti as part of a strategic partnership while in collaboration with the Egyptian government. The company has also acquired Centamin PLC last year. It was listed on London and Toronto Stock Exchanges, being operated by Sukari Gold Mines.

Eng. Hoda Mansour is a highly experienced executive from a global provider of industrial AI solutions ‘IFS’ where she was working as the COO for specific regions like Asia Pacific, Japan, Middle East and Africa. Earlier, she has served as the member of the board Audit & Risk and Sustainability Committees at Centamin plc board.
