CWE begins accepting Application for Texas Rural Woman Grant

Jane Nelson Institute’s program for Women’s Leadership at Texas Woman’s University, Center for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE) is all set to start accepting applications for its Texas Rural Woman Grant on May 28, 2024.

A total number of 10 grants consisting $5,000 i.e., $50,000 shall be given or awarded to the qualified rural women of Texas considering who has built their own businesses. This is the 2nd time or the 2nd years since the grant has been provided to aid and assist rural women in need of capital to expand their businesses.

CWE director, Tracy Irby stated, “The Center for Women Entrepreneurs is funded to help women business owners throughout the state of Texas. Rural women don’t have access to the resources, training or capital that typically is available in the metropolitan areas. This grant can help 10 women that may not have the resources to expand their businesses.”

The applicants need to consider that the completed online application has to be submitted before 5 p.m. by July 5, 2024. The winners of the grant will be announced on July 23, 2024. Additionally, the awardees shall get a chance to meet small-business advisor and will be provided with virtual training course hosted by the center and complete a business plan.
