Date announced for Women IT Summit Asia 2023

The Women in IT Summit Asia 2023 is held by DiversityQ and Information Age at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore. It is one of the most exciting events hosted every year which includes various activities, events, workshops, and speeches intended to create a welcoming atmosphere for females who work in the technology sector.

This year's Summit would be the biggest and most thrilling as promised. The event is going to be held on June 28, 2023, where the topic of discussion will be how governments in Asia promote technical advancement and safeguard the interests of their consumers and the general public.

The representatives will also get to know about the latest changes and advancements in the tech industry. The need to create a supportive environment that can provide overall development in society.

A panel discussion will be held in the event titled "How Metaverse, AR, AI and Web3 transformations shifting different industries?." This discussion will cover the topics related to how the introduction of new technologies is changing the industrial, retail, finance, healthcare and tourism sectors.

The 'traditional industries' are being improved by omnichannel strategies and customer interaction through new tech advancements such as AI, Blockchain and others. There will also be a lively discussion on the use of AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Google Bard. Do they create a hindrance for tech professionals or any ethical concerns related?

The panel will consist of a diverse group of experts who will present their viewpoints on securing your tech career in difficult times. Experts like Dr Carol Anne Hargreaves, Director of the Data Analytics Consulting Centre at the National University of Singapore, Anna Gong, CEO and Founder of Perx Technologies and Evelina Lye, Co-Founder of UNTAM3D will be present.

Difficulties women face in getting gender parity in leadership roles in the tech sector and see how businesses can promote flexible work arrangements, mentorship and parental leave by implementing policies and programmes.

Sessions on the ageing population, cultural awareness, understanding networking and career path planning, skill development, optimising multigenerational teams, and social mobility will feature in the Women in IT Summit Asia 2023.

During the event, aspiring entrepreneurs can also discuss how to increase representation in be Asian tech industry. The participants will get a chance to vote for their favourites while experts will analyse the ideas presented by the entrepreneurs.
