Vmo Aircraft Leasing ("Vmo") which is a Global Aircraft Lessor announced the name of an independent member of the Board of Directors who is Dawne S. Hickton.
The Executive Chairman of the Vmo Aircraft Leasing, Robert Brown expressed his gratitude for this appointment and stated that he is thrilled to welcome Dawne to the expanding Vmo Board.
Dawne is presently the Chairperson and CEO of the Cumberland Additive which is an innovative 3-D printing technology organization that works for the aerospace sector. She has also served at many Global companies in a leading position. She was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Critical Mission Solutions ("CMS") which is a part of Jacobs Engineering Group ("Jacobs"). She joined CMS in 2019 and left Jacobs Board.
She led the cultural transformation of CMS during her period and made a significant increase in exposure to high-growth, higher-value businesses. Before joining Jacobs, she also served at the RTI International Metals as the Chief Executive Officer which is a global firm that supplies advanced titanium and specialty metals. During her leadership, this firm was one of the world's largest producers of specialty metals in the aerospace sector.
Dawne has worked with many global companies and led the positions. She has been recently selected by Vice President Harris to serve on the National Space Council's Users Advisory Committee. She is a member of the Corporate Angel Network and the President of The Wings Club Foundation. She also served as ITA's first female President and launched the Global Group of Women in Titanium.
