DBWC & Oracle Launch 'sAIdaty' to Empower Women in AI

In a crucial step towards empowering women in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) and Oracle have launched the 'sAIdaty' project. This joint endeavour intends to improve AI capabilities among women professionals and entrepreneurs in Dubai and across the UAE, in line with the country's ambitious AI economic aspirations.

Led by Oracle Women Leadership (OWL), the one-year program will upskill 500 DBWC women with AI skills, allowing them to strategically integrate the technology across diverse industries. Oracle specialists and DBWC leaders will deliver training courses on core AI ideas, cloud computing, Generative AI, Machine Learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and practical applications.

In addition, OWL members will provide leadership skill training for DBWC members. Nadine Halabi, Business Development Manager at DBWC, stressed the initiative's importance, claiming that it will catapult members to the forefront of innovation.

The partnership between Oracle and DBWC aims to contribute to the UAE's digital economy goals, which are consistent with the country's vision to expand the digital economy's contribution to non-oil GDP. The'sAIdaty' program will include of classroom sessions, virtual meetings, speed mentoring events, and networking activities. Oracle intends to use its knowledge and engagement with DBWC to empower female professionals and encourage their active involvement in driving digital transformation in the UAE.
