Dr. Jasmine Begum joins MIMOS Berhad as New Non-Executive Chairman

Dr. Jasmine Begum has been appointed by MIMOS Berhad as its new Non-Executive Chairman. Succeeding the former Chairman of the firm Dato’ Sri Ibrahim Ahmad, Jasmine has taken up her new role in August 2024.

Founded in 1984, MIMOS Berhad caters in the Research Services industry with its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. It specialises in Information and Communication Technology and Industrial Electronics Technology etc.

Dr. Jasmine is currently serving as the regional director at Microsoft where she has been working from past 14 years. Prior to joining Microsoft, she was the Director Public Affairs and Corporate Communications at Dell Global Business Centre for 2 years and Assistant Secretary General at United Nations for over 7 years.

Holding more than 3 decades of experience in legal, policy, regulatory, geostrategic, and communications fields, Dr. Jasmine has become a seasoned professional in the industry. She has also gained certificates of Accessibility in Action from Microsoft and Leading the way in public sector from London Business School.

Her extensive experience in the industry will help her to perform better in her new role and will give her better opportunities of growth in the near future. Dr. Jasmine’s prowess in the field will equivalently help the company to thrive as well.
