Manal bint Sheikha The wife of Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Women Establishment, gave the order to Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) to organise a new round of the "Women on International Boards" programme.

From May 30 to June 5, 2023, the curriculum was put on by the Establishment in the UK in collaboration with the London Institute of Directors and the "Hawkammah" Institute of the Dubai International Financial Centre.

The decision was made in response to the program's success and the favourable comments received from participants, Institute of Directors faculty, and presenters with a range of experience on corporate boards of directors.

Building abilities

This order comes from Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with the goal of giving numerous Emirati female trailblazers from various universities access to a variety of options.

This outstanding project, painstakingly designed within the context of the Establishment's unwavering efforts, aims to strengthen and raise the capabilities of Emirati women by developing their leadership skills and enhancing their visibility on international platforms.

Twenty Emirati leaders from the public, semi-public, and commercial sectors participated in the program's first round of graduation, which was honoured by the Dubai Women Establishment.

Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Dubai Women Establishment and Managing Director, Naeema Ahli, Director of Director of Corporate Support, and Sultana Saif, Director of Women Development Department, attended the graduation ceremony that was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in London.

This program's main goal is to empower and give unmatched qualifications to women leaders in the public, semi-public, and private sectors.
