Duchess of Sussex Launches New Podcast for Women to Share Their Stories

A new podcast is being launched by the Meghan, Duchess of Sussex entitled as ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’. Describing about the launch, Meghan explained about the venture as ‘candid conversations with amazing women’ regarding their success as well as struggles while running a business.

She took to her Instagram and wrote about her excitement for sharing the news, articulating about recording the series as “absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun!” She also shared that the females who had shared their “tips, tricks (and tumbles) as well as letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As ever”.

The announcement was made just after the duchess’ lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan that has already filmed a second season. It came across savage criticism as reviews after premiering on Netflix.

In 2024, Meghan signed a deal with Lemonada Media which resulted in this podcast. Lemonada stated, “As Meghan herself navigates the world of entrepreneurship with the upcoming launch of her brand As ever, be inspired by the real, unfiltered stories and lessons learned from notable female founders—from knowing your worth, to trusting your gut, securing investors, and investing in yourself. She creates a comfortable space for her guests to bring fascinating personal stories to the table and open up in a way they likely haven’t before publicly.”

The chief creative officer and co-founder of Lemonada, Stephanie Wittels Wachs added to the statement, saying, “Listeners can expect conversations that are way more break room than boardroom.”

Moreover, the trailer for the new podcast is scheduled to release on March 25, 2025 while the eight weekly episodes’ first one will launch on April 8, 2025.
