In a recent announcement, Donald Trump the elected President of America has revealed that his senior adviser and attorney Alina Habba is going to take the position of counselor to the president. Previously, the role was occupied by Kellyanne Conway in his former administration. Besides, this position is not associated with the office of White House counsel.
Moreover, US President has made the announcement through social media posts, mentioning about State Department roles that also includes Michael Anton to the role of director of policy planning; Michael Needham as counsellor and lastly, Christopher Landau as deputy secretary.
The social media post says, “Alina has been a tireless advocate for Justice, a fierce Defender of the Rule of Law, and an invaluable Advisor to my Campaign and Transition Team. She has been unwavering in her loyalty, and unmatched in her resolve - standing with me through numerous 'trials,' battles, and countless days in Court.”
It continued, “As a first generation American of Middle Eastern Heritage, she has become a role model for women in Law and Politics, most recently being named Chaldean Woman of the Year.”
The appointment of Alina serves as a testament to the dedication of the president towards fostering a gender diversity.
