The 2023 Global Women Summit will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi. This international conference will discuss the topic of 'Role of Female leadership in establishing peace, prosperity, and social integration.
It has been 100 years since women obtained the right of voting and elect, in commemoration of this The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) organizes The Global Women Summit 2023. It will be chaired by the General Women's Union (GWU) under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.
The official Mission released a statement about the two-day Summit that is held on 21 and 22 February in Abu Dhabi. According to the statement, the conference is going to take place at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort which will be attended by social activists, media celebrities, scholars, stateswomen, entrepreneurs, faith leaders, and cultural personalities from more than 100 countries.
The statement mentioned the major causes of uncertainty in the world like gender inequality, global crises, conflicts, pandemics, and many other major challenges. Women altogether supported the economy and world in many problems and challenges which need to be appreciated.
It further mentioned the eradication of issues faced by women like domestic abuse, gender inequality, and political disadvantages. The speakers and participants present at the conference will address those issues.
The President and Chief executive officer of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators, Her Highness Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan will address the summit with her keynote on climate change after Sheikha Fatima's welcome note.
On the two-day Summit, two important sessions will be carried out which include Philanthropy, international relations, and education on the first day and 'Lifetime Achievers Among Women' on the second day.
