FIFA picks Amal Jamal to Officiate at U-17 Women's World Cup

As per a recent announcement made by United Arab Emirates (UAE) Football Association, Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has selected Amal Jamal, Emirati international assistant referee, to officiate at the U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Founded in 1904, FIFA caters in the Spectator Sports industry and holds specialities in football, events, development, legal, communication, sustainability, diversity, marketing etc.

From October 16 to November 3, the competition shall take place in Dominican Republic. Women’s World Cup is an encouragement for women to pursue their dreams in sports and get the chance to play in the competition, making it even more special.

In addition, Amal Jamal is not an unknown name. She secured her name in the history by becoming the 1st Emirati woman to officiate at a professional men’s football game in April 23, 2021. Coming from a sporting family where her father was a footballer and her brother Mohamed Jamal is on Al Ain’s roster, currently.

Getting all the support she wanted from family, she voyaged on her journey towards crafting her name in the history of sports. Amal has become a popular name today because of her enthusiasm and hardwork for her love in the world of sports.
