Gianni Infantino, the President of FIFA is confident about securing what he considers to be an acceptable agreement for the broadcast rights to the upcoming Women's World Cup in five significant European nations.

Gianni briefly stated the negotiations with broadcasters in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and England for the rights to show the Women's World Cup games taking place in Australia and New Zealand in two months. While walking through the green carpet at a gala event he unveiled the logo and branding for the 2026 World Cup at Los Angeles' historic Griffith Observatory.

He further added that, some discussions have been done, have started, I must say, at a bit of a different level, so it's going on.

Gianni even criticized the proposals made just a few weeks ago, stating the disrespect shown to women's sports and FIFA's ongoing efforts to level the playing field in terms of money. He said that the event will generate more money from the largest European nation's broadcaster which will benefit the entire women's sport. However, FIFA has more than three times the prize money that will be awarded to the Women's World Cup winners this year.
