Fiji’s national airline has appointed two Fijian women to top leadership positions, where Anna Morris steps in the role of Chief People Officer, while Kamal Haer takes on the position of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. This move aligns with the airline’s broader vision of fostering innovation and sustainable business success.

The airline highlights the contributors of Anna, a Fiji-born professional of Rotuman descent, who brings extensive experience in human resources, workforce planning, and organizational development. The integration of experienced professionals into key roles, reinforces the airline’s commitment to diversity and strategic growth in the aviation industry.

Since joining Fiji Airways in 2015, she has been instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and create a dynamic, people-centric corporate culture.  Prior to her tenure at Fiji Airways, Anna built a successful career at Fiji Water, dedicating over ten years to operations and performance management. In addition to her executive expertise, she plays an active role in corporate governance as a board member of Food Processors Fiji Limited.

Formerly serving as Fiji’s Airway’s Executive Manager for Strategy, Alliances, and Loyalty, Kamal played a pivotal role in advancing airline’s global connectivity. Her career spans senior leadership roles across Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, and Japan, showcasing her expertise in international business strategy and airline partnerships. Serving on the board of Fijian Holdings Limited, Kamal contributes to high-level corporate oversight and strategic planning. Her educational journey solidifies her foothold strengthening her expertise and reinforcing her leadership categories in the aviation industry.
