11 entrants have been finalised among the thousands who had applied from across Australia for the Food Services Finalists List of the 2023 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards. The diverse and comprehensive programme celebrates the rising number of Australia’s most inspiring and influential women in small business.
In its second year, the 2023 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards have over 65 categories which will be judged by an independent panel of representatives with relevant experience.
Some of this year’s most competitive categories include Food Services according to Steve Loe, Awards Founder and Managing Director of Precedent Productions.
“The quantity and quality of entrants in the Food Services category in particular is truly remarkable and so the ultimate selection of this year’s finalists has by no means been an easy feat.”
“When the Champion Judges evaluate entries, they consider all aspects of a small business: its strategies, innovative initiatives, customer service, vision, growth, charitable and community support – to name but some of the judging criteria.”
“We’re simply blown-away by the incredibly high calibre of Australia’s female-led small businesses in the marketing services sector and – while it’s certainly a welcome challenge – the next round of judging is bound to be even more challenging, as we continue to nut-through the 11 impressive finalists to reach one category winner,” added Loe.
The 11 Food Services category finalists are:
Al Naturale (VIC), Camel Milk NSW, Georges Fruit Barn Terrigal (NSW), Gourmet Guru Catering (VIC), Grazed in the Dilly (NSW), Hartleys Fresh Market (NSW), Manly Farm Organic Grocer (NSW), Natural Pana Dosa Hub (NSW), Plenty Catering Co (SA), Soonta Group (SA) and SubZero Gelato (WA).
The Winners of the 2023 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards will be disclosed on 23 September at National Presentation Evening Gala Event.
