Fleurette Navarro has been elevated to the position of Chief People Officer (CPO) by iQor on 22nd June, 2023. The CPO role is a newly developed international position with a primary responsibility for setting best practises for the organization's worldwide human resource and hiring operations.

This appointment solidifies iQor's reputation as one of the best places to work in the Philippines and as an organisation that promotes gender equality in the ASEAN region. It also demonstrates the company's people-centric approach and dedication to promoting women in senior leadership roles.

Fleurette’s priorities as chief people officer will be talent sourcing and retention, employee growth, fostering a healthy workplace culture, and strategically globalising HR initiatives. The hiring of Navarro is evidence of iQor's ongoing commitment to global human resource leadership in order to satisfy growing demand and geographic development.

Additionally, Fleurette’s selection as CPO solidifies the business's commitment to upholding international norms of equitable representation of men and women in senior leadership roles, which is consistent with the UN Sustainable Development Goals for gender equality and empowerment.

The company iQor is committed to establishing an inclusive culture that fosters innovation and propels significant change for the benefit of its workforce, stakeholders, and the industry at large. 58% of the employees and 29% of the executive leadership team of iQor are female. IQor has accomplished 52% diversity in leadership recruits and promotions in within the last 15 months. iQor is dedicated to provide fair chances for professional development and progress that recognise the worth of one's work and open the door to a more just future.

Fleurette, a woman in a leadership position, provides a wealth of expertise and a nuanced viewpoint to her position as a result of her 23 years in the BPO sector. “For large corporations like HSBC, CapitalOne, and Tata Consultancy, Fleurette oversaw operations. Through my responsibilities in operations, account management, training, quality assurance, and human resources over the past 20 years, I have gained a strong understanding of the BPO sector”, she said.

To provide a consistent, people-centered, and integrated experience, Fleurette’s goal in this newly established role will be to bring together iQor's worldwide human resources, recruiting, compensation, and benefits under her guidance and leadership. Fleurette declared, "I am eager to start this next phase of my adventure with iQor. To ensure that iQor continues to be a fantastic place to work, I will continue to enhance our efforts in the areas of talent acquisition, employee development, and workplace culture.”

Throughout her six-year career, Fleurette has continually expanded iQor's human resources efforts. Additionally, she has led a productive human resources and international recruitment team, showcasing her remarkable leadership abilities and capacity to uplift people around her. By forging connections with the government and putting policies in place to protect staff members and the company, Navarro also significantly contributed to iQor's ability to deal with the epidemic.

Fleurette will work directly with iQor President and CEO Gary Praznik as a member of the executive team. "Flo has been a fierce supporter of all iQorians and personifies our common conviction that our strength comes from our variety and the distinctive contributions of every team member. I have no doubt that, under her direction, our human resources and recruitment team will prosper and continue to produce positive worker experiences”, said Praznik.

According to study by Grant Thornton International Ltd., women occupied 48% of senior management positions in the Philippines' different industries in 2021. Additionally, according to their worldwide 2023 Women in Business Report, women hold 32.4% of senior management roles globally in mid-market organisations. These figures demonstrate the growing commitment of businesses worldwide—including iQor—to gender diversity in important leadership roles, notably in the Philippines.

Fleurette’s leadership has played — and will continue to play — a crucial role in enabling more women leaders in senior management roles at iQor, as seen by the multiple projects she has spearheaded.
