Recently, Future Generation group has launched the Future Generation Women investment trust with an intent to attain gender equality as well as economic prosperity with regards to Australian women and their children.
In addition, Gender inequality is an issue that goes up to $128 billion foe Australia. However, Nicola Forrest along with an army of women with high-profile, top stock-picking, are anyway tackling the issue with groundbreaking all-woman investment fund.
Minderoo Foundation will be providing for the fund with $100 million. Moreover, the foundation was established by philanthropic arm Ms Forrest alongside Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest, her ex-husband, intending to offer provide an “important spotlight on women and their potential in Australia”.
She says, “Every year, gender inequality continues to cost Australia $128 billion. To truly shift the dial and overcome the outdated norms that hold our entire country back, we need change-makers that are ready to speak up, act and embrace collaboration.”
Additionally, Elana Rubin, the Future Generation Women advisory member added, “The expertise of our all-women investment team is at the core of our mission: to prove that when women are in charge of their financial destiny, we all rise together.” These funds shall empower Australian women to some extent.
